Good to know

All the great taste of fresh milk.
No discomfort.

We love milk, so we do everything we can to help you love it as much as us. With our Lactose Free Milk, you can once again enjoy the fresh, pure taste of milk every day – free of any discomfort.

MILK THAT STAYS DELICIOUSLY FRESH LONGER

Our packaging with the “Fresh-seal packaging” stamp is more durable and preserves the delicious, fresh taste of milk longer: guaranteed to stay fresh for 15 days more than our regular pasteurized milk when refrigerated and unopened.

How do we do it?

More durable packaging

For our cardboard containers, we use cartons laminated with a thin nylon film, making them more airtight. This provides increased protection to edges and folds. Our bags use a new, more durable plastic film with an oxygen barrier to preserve all the great taste of fresh milk longer.

Four tips for enjoying milk that tastes delicious:

  • Keep milk in the refrigerator at 4°C
  • Consume milk within 10 days after opening for maximum freshness
  • Place milk on your refrigerator’s shelves, not in the door.
  • Keep milk away from strong-smelling foods

WHAT IS LACTOSE?

Milk contains natural sugar, called lactose. Normally, when you eat or drink a product with milk, your body produces an enzyme called lactase. Lactase breaks down lactose, allowing your body to absorb it. Lactase levels vary from individual to individual, and our production of lactase gradually decreases as we age.

WHAT IS LACTOSE INTOLERANCE? WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?

Lactose intolerance is defined as the inability to properly digest lactose, a form of sugar found in dairy products. Undigested sugar from lactose ferments, occasionally causing gas and acidity. Since the severity of symptoms varies greatly from person to person, there are many ways to treat lactose intolerance. Symptoms include abdominal cramps, bloating, flatulence and discomfort.
