Beef Aiguillettes

Ingredients
1.5 lb (750 g) beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
2 large onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 cup (120 ml) mushrooms, thinly sliced 2 tbsp (30 ml) flour 2 cups (500 ml) beef broth
1 bay leaf 1 tsp (5 ml) thyme 2 cups (500 ml) Sealtest sour cream
salt and pepper
3 cups (750 g) cooked pasta

Preparation
Preheat oven to 350º F.

Pour oil into heated skillet, and sauté beef until browned.

Add onions, garlic and mushrooms, and cook until golden.
|

Sift in flour and blend thoroughly.
|

Pour beef broth into skillet, season with salt and pepper to taste, and add bay leaf and thyme.

Gently bring to a boil.
|

|
Pour beef mixture into ovenproof casserole dish and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake 1 hour.
|

|
Remove from oven and pour mixture back into skillet.
|

Add sour cream, stirring constantly, and bring mixture to a boil.
|
|
10.
|
Remove bay leaf and serve over pasta.
