Vanilla syrup for coffee

Vanilla syrup prepared with pure vanilla extract is ideal to bring out the taste in beverages, on top of being a favourite for fans of flavoured coffee. I love to enjoy my vanilla-rich latte with a piece of dark chocolate to intensify the flavour.

Recipe ingredients

cup (250 ml)
water
1
cup (250 ml)
sugar
2
tbsp (30 ml)
pure vanilla extract
Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan, and heat over medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove from heat, add the vanilla, mix well and pour into a small glass bottle.
