Cream with just 10% fat that is also known as coffee cream. Sealtest Half and Half is most popular for whitening coffee and hot chocolate. More and more people are switching from milk to 10% cream in their recipes and enjoying the added flavour and smoother textures of their dishes.

(18% m.f.)

Table cream is made with 18% milk fat and is quickly becoming the cream of choice for lovers of mellow, full bodied coffee. Sealtest Table Cream can enhance soups, sauces, purees and other light cuisine. Poured over fresh fruit, it makes a quick, delicious dessert topping.

(5% m.f.)

Formulated specifically for those who want to reduce their intake of fat but still want to enjoy a rich and creamy cup of coffee. Sealtest Light Cream contains only 5% milk fat, just half the fat of coffee cream. Perfect for whitening coffee and for lower fat versions of certain cooked and baked dishes.

(35% m.f.)

Sealtest whipping cream is made with a full 35% milk fat and is the ultimate cream. The ultimate in convenience. Sealtest Aerosol Whipping Cream is ideal for last minute dessert preparations … or just because you love the taste! It can be substituted for 35% whipping cream as a topping on any dessert. Made with real cream, it delivers a taste that non-dairy substitutes just can’t match. One 225 g can yields approximately 1 litre of whipping cream. Available in regular and light versions.


Sealtest Regular Aerosol Whipping Cream ( 24% m.f. ) is available in 225 g and 400 g cans.  Sealtest Real Whipped Cream is also available in British Columbia.

 

 


Helpful hints

For best results with whipping cream, keep your cream as cold as possible without freezing. All bowls and utensils should be pre-chilled as well. This will result in a smoother, lighter and fluffier finished product with a greater yield.

Adding a small amount of 18% cream will usually correct overwhipped cream.

Most creams should not be frozen. They curdle and become grainy when thawed. However, in most cases you can freeze a sauce that has been made with cream. To serve once frozen, slowly reheat the sauce and add a small amount of fresh cream.

For optimal freshness, keep cream refrigerated at 4° C or 40° F.

A large spoonful of whipped cream with home made jam will turn plain waffles, crepes and scones into irresistible delicacies.
