Butterflyfood’s Ashley Colbourne is a self-taught kitchen aficionado. Following a childhood of microwaved dinners and the occasional dish of homemade scalloped potatoes, she got inspired to cook after watching (and developing a crush on) a famous British chef on TV. Her puppy love eventually faltered, but she is still a passionate cook. She’s even turned her love of food into a career as a freelance food stylist and photographer. She spends her free time updating her blog, cooking up a storm in her tiny kitchen and relaxing in her Toronto apartment with her cat Noosa.
