Hot chocolate with whipped cream, your way

When Mother Nature decides to blanket us in white, what could be more comforting or enjoyable than thick hot chocolate? Bring your rosy cheeks and delight in this delicious hot chocolate beverage. This hot chocolate has it all. On top of being super creamy with perfectly balanced flavours, you can personalize it in a thousand different ways. We invite you to let your imagination run wild and create the hot chocolate of your dreams



  1. Beat the Natrel Lactose Free whipping cream  with the icing sugar and cinnamon until cream forms stiff peaks. Refrigerate.


  1. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cornstarch with 1 tbsp. of Natrel Lactose Free 1%. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the chocolate chips with ½ cup of Natrel Lactose Free 1%. 

    Melt the chocolate over medium heat, whisking continuously.

  3. When the chocolate has melted, add the remaining 1 cup Natrel Lactose Free 1%. Whisk in the cocoa. Stir constantly until mixture is smooth and thoroughly blended. Whisk in the cornstarch mixture and cinnamon. Simmer until mixture begins to thicken, stirring constantly.

    The hot chocolate is ready when it’s thick and coats the back of a spoon. 

  4. Top with the whipped cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon, orange zest, miniature marshmallows or chocolate cookie crumble. Enjoy!
