For Edmonton’s Cheri Neufeld, cooking and baking didn’t come naturally. As a child growing up with three brothers, she didn’t make cooking a priority. She slowly but surely entered the kitchen after moving out of her parents’ house, relying mostly on mixes and prepackaged ingredients. Her culinary skills finally bloomed when she moved to Norway. Deprived of her standby convenience products, she discovered a passion for cooking tasty and nutritious recipes from scratch. Now that she’s back in Canada, Cheri’s love of delicious homemade food is still strong, and she’s happy to share that passion with her readers.
