Caramel bechamel sauce for white meat

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp. Natrel Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Natrel Caramel Latte Flavoured Milk
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg, grated or ground
  • 1 tsp. herbes de Provence
  • Pinch of freshly ground pepper
Preparation
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and mix.
  2. Gradually pour in the milk, mixing with a whisk. Add the salt, pepper, nutmeg and herbes de Provence. Cook on high heat, whisking until the sauce thickens (about 7 to 10 minutes).
  3. Serve as an accompaniment to white meat.
